read Syria declares liberation of Khan Sheikhoun in Idlib, towns in Hama province
Posted by: G-Zero Guest - Today 01:09 AM - Replies (1)

The Syrian military announced on Friday plans to advance further north after the liberation of the town of Khan Sheikhoun in Idlib, and a number of other settlements in northern Hama province.

After intensive strikes in recent days and the complete encirclement of the terrorists in the north of Hama, the army liberated Khan Sheikhoun, Morek, Ltamenah, Tall as Sayyad, Latmeen, Kafr Zita, Lahaya, and others, a General Staff spokesman was cited by state-run al-Ikhbariya TV as saying.

The advance is continuing and the army “intends to liberate the entire territory of Syria” from terrorists and their patrons, the armed forces’ statement said.

Work is now underway to clear the liberated settlements of mines and other explosive devices, according to the military.

violin Oil Companies Persuade States to Make Pipeline Protests a Felony
Posted by: G-Zero Guest - Today 12:53 AM - Replies (1)

"After protesters disrupted construction of an oil pipeline in North Dakota by chaining themselves to construction equipment and pitching tents along the route, oil and chemical companies found a way to keep it from happening again.

They made it a crime.

The companies, including Koch Industries Inc., Marathon Petroleum Corp. and Energy Transfer Partners LP—whose Dakota Access project in North Dakota was targeted three years ago—lobbied state legislatures to effectively outlaw demonstrations near pipelines, chemical plants and other infrastructure. Nine states have gone along so far, in some cases classifying the activities as felonies. More are considering measures."

Brazilian troops have started to be deployed in the Amazon in an attempt to fight a record number of forest fires.

Forty-four thousand soldiers will be deployed in what the government are calling "unprecedented" operations to get on top of a crisis which has provoked anti-government protests and pressure from leading world powers.

wtf TRUMP IS RIGHT! China Is In Terrible Economic Condition; Cannot Afford to Lose the US
Posted by: G-Zero Guest - Today 12:14 AM - Replies (1)

President Trump yesterday announced that the US will increase tariffs on China and then ordered all US firms to begin seeking alternatives to doing business with China!

The Chinese regime is in a lethal position and has only two choices.

The regime can either give the US what it wants or perish.

President Trump recognizes that China is in an all out war with the US in regards to information and economics. For years Western leaders have done nothing but negotiate into weak positions, never standing up to the Communist regime. Former US Presidents treated China like they did Russia 50 years ago, as their superior always giving them what they wanted and never standing up to their abuse and criminal acts.

It is different with President Trump. The President knows he has the authority and ability to inflict a fatal blow to the Chinese economy. The US is arguably in its best economic period in history while China’s economy is its weakest in 30 years.

pin Apple and Samsung sued over ‘cancer risk’ from cell phone radiation
Posted by: G-Zero Guest - Today 12:01 AM - Replies (1)

Apple and Samsung have been hit with a class-action lawsuit over claims that their phones expose users to radio frequency emissions up to 500 percent beyond federal limits. Meanwhile the health debate around smartphones heats up.
Filed following an investigation by the Chicago Tribune, the lawsuit alleges that the Radio Frequency (RF) emissions of a number of Apple and Samsung phones – among them the iPhone 8, iPhone no, and Galaxy S8 – “far exceed federal guidelines.” The risks of such radiation levels, it continues, include “increased cancer risk, cellular stress...genetic damages, learning and memory deficits, neurological disorders,” and a laundry list of other medical problems.

read 6 EU states agree to share 356 'Ocean Viking' migrants among them
Posted by: G-Zero Guest - Yesterday 11:59 PM - Replies (1)

Six European Union countries have agreed to take in the 356 migrants stranded at sea for two weeks aboard the ‘Ocean Viking’ rescue vessel.

The move could end the latest standoff among members of the bloc over migration to Europe across the Mediterranean Sea.

The migrants on board the ship, which is operated by French charities, will be taken to Malta before being received by France, Germany, Romania, Luxembourg, Portugal and Ireland, the EU migration commissioner and Maltese prime minister said.

Irish Foreign Minister Simon Coveney on Friday criticized the lack of a coordinated EU response. “Ad hoc arrangements on a case-by-case basis is not sustainable or humane. EU is better than this!,” he tweeted. Ireland decided to accept up to 100 asylum-seekers during the remainder of this year.

The protests in Hong Kong have entered their third month amid increasing violence. How did we get here? What triggered the protests? And why are they turning chaotic?
